Fri, Aug 16th - Sylvia Theater Songwriters Round
This is a monthly event at the Sylvia Theater in York, SC that is hosted by NSAI member Paul Finnican.  In addition, two or more regional songwriters join him on stage for two hours of mostly original songs.  The show starts right after the early movie, around 9:00 PM. Note: This months event is not on the normal first Friday of the month.

Sat, Sept 6th - The Naked Truth TV Show
A TV show featuring many local songwriters as well as regional and touring artists is cablecast on the first Saturday of each month at 8:30 PM on Time Warner Channel 21 (Access 21). The show is produced by NSAI member and this site's webmaster, Greg Baker and is filmed at the Sylvia Theater Songwriters Round.. 

Tues, Sept 9th - Next Regular Workshop Meeting
 The regular NSAI Charlotte workshop meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month.  The location is The Well at 220 Main Street in Pineville, right next to the police station.  The meeting starts at 7:00PM.  Three things usually happen at each meeting; announcements of interest to members, a presentation or exercise about songwriting and a critique session where member's songs are heard and discussed.  Non-members are welcome to sit in one or two meetings before deciding if they want to join NSAI.

Sat, Sept 27th - Steve Seskin Workshop
The one and only, the great songwriter Steve Seskin will be in Charlotte to conduct one of his popular workshops for songwriters. The event will take place at The Well in Pineville, NC.  Go HERE for more details and to sign up.
